Marco Canola Wins; Oka Takes 4th Place
Tour of Japan, Kyoto Stage30 May 2017 - Kyoto//Sightseeing/EventsSecond Stage Kyoto was held on May 22, the second day of the Tour of Japan, on the circuit course in Kyotanabe City and Seika-cho, Kyoto Prefecture. Marco Canola, of Nippo - Vini Fantini, Italia, won the race in two hours, 44 minutes and 17 seconds. Among Japanese cyclists, Atsushi Oka, of Utsunomiya Blitzen, finished in fourth place.
Battling it out over eight locations across Japan, the Tour began on May 21 in Sakai City, Osaka Prefecture, and ended on May 28 in Tokyo. The Kyoto Stage was added from last year.
