The Kyoto Tourism Federation, in Kamigyo Ward, Kyoto, has begun selling a guide map introducing some famous places for beautiful flowers in the spring, including Japanese roses, wisteria, azaleas and others, with photos as well as information about the best time to see them. The A2-size map is printed in color on both sides and can be folded to palm-size. It was made in the "Miura-ori" style, a paper-folding method in which the map can be easily spread out by pulling the sides. A total of 32 sites have been divided into four zones, indicated by color, based on the travel time from Kyoto Station. The guide map costs 300 yen before tax.
