Photo= "The PLANETS," a new incense series, reflects the images of planets (Lisn Kyoto, Shimogyo Ward, Kyoto)

Shoyeido Incense Co., an incense producer and distributor, in Nakagyo Ward, Kyoto, has released a new incense series, "The PLANETS," in its "Lisn" daily incense brand. Its fragrance reflects the image of seven of the planets. The company is increasing its assortment one by one every month until November.

In order to offer a lifestyle enhanced by fragrance, the company developed them in cooperation with a photographer and astrophysicist.

Seven types are offered which are named "Mercury," "Venus," "Mars," "Jupiter," "Saturn," "Uranus," and "Neptune." The May release is "Mercury," a frankincense-based "cool floral" fragrance. June's release, "Venus," was produced as a sweet, moist fragrance using vanilla, cinnamon and honey. The burning duration is about 15 minutes.

The incense is available at their company store "Lisn Kyoto" located in the "COCON KARASUMA" shopping, dining and entertainment facility in Shimogyo Ward, Kyoto. A stick of incense costs 32 yen.
