Photo= The dog which took a train from Kintetsu's Terada Station

At around 8:30 a.m. on January 21, to the passengers' surprise, a dog with a collar suddenly got on a Nara-bound local train as it was stopped at the platform of Kintetsu Kyoto Line's Terada Station, Joyo City, Kyoto Prefecture, and "dodged the fare" to the next station.

It was a small, brown-haired dog similar to the Shiba Inu dog breed. It didn't bark, but remained quiet, letting a male passenger caress its lower jaw. Led by an attendant from Tonosho Station, the next station who got on the train there, it was taken off the train at the same station.

According to Kintetsu Corporation, the dog disappeared when the station attendant looked away, while preparing to turn the doge over to Joyo Police Station.
