Shimadzu Business Systems Corporation in Nakagyo Ward, Kyoto, a subsidiary company of Shimadzu Corporation, has started a trilingual Cherry Blossom Blooming Forecast service in Japanese, English and Chinese.

The forecast is available for free on their weather information website, "Otenki JAPAN." As the number of browsers from the USA, Taiwan and Hong Kong is increasing year by year, English and Chinese services have been added.

A total of 137 locations known for cherry blossoms and others across Japan are introduced. It forecasts the start of blooming in Kyoto City on March 23, five days earlier than an average year due to the unusually warm winter. Information will be updated on February 16, March 1 and 16.
