On February 24, Noritz Corporation released designs for bathtub walls, which were jointly developed by the clothing company based in Nakagyo Ward, Kyoto, responsible for the Sou Sou garment line. These Japanese-style, friendly decorations, representing Mt. Fuji, chrysanthemums and numerals, are aimed at cultivating a new clientele. These products will be sold from April 1.

The company has developed bathtub walls with highly artistic decorations in its bathroom system "Yupatio" series, but these are its first Japanese-style decorations.

In the Mt. Fuji pattern, there is a magnificent mountain with paintings representative of the four seasons, such as cherry blossoms and maple leaves. Other patterns filled with chrysanthemums or studded with figures, are also available.

Takeshi Wakabayashi, president of Wakabayashi, said at the press conference in the Noritz Kyoto showroom, in Fushimi Ward, Kyoto, "We want people to feel the atmosphere and seasons of Japan while in the bath."
