On November 20, which was warm all day long, scenic spots for colored autumn leaves in Kyoto City had the largest number of visitors for this year. As the autumn leaves were at their best for viewing, temples and other places were full of tourists who wanted to enjoy vividly colored Kyoto at the end of fall.

According to the Kyoto Local Meteorological Office, that day's high in Kyoto was 21 degrees Celsius, which was 5.9 degrees higher than usual. The weather was agreeable for it was warm as if were late October.

Tenryu-ji Temple in Ukyo Ward, Kyoto, reportedly had the largest number of visitors this season. The temple paths and other sites were packed with many people. Visitors enjoyed seeing the autumn leaves reflected on the garden's pound, and enjoyed looking at trees with the leaves' redness intensified as they overlapped each other.
