According to the Kyoto Local Meteorological Office, that day's high in Kyoto was 21 degrees Celsius, which was 5.9 degrees higher than usual. The weather was agreeable for it was warm as if were late October.
Tenryu-ji Temple in Ukyo Ward, Kyoto, reportedly had the largest number of visitors this season. The temple paths and other sites were packed with many people. Visitors enjoyed seeing the autumn leaves reflected on the garden's pound, and enjoyed looking at trees with the leaves' redness intensified as they overlapped each other.
